Your recipes

You retain your rights in content you add. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide the features you request. Importing or adapting a recipe does not transfer rights in someone else's text or photos: only upload and share content you are entitled to use.

Your saved library is stored on your device, with optional iCloud sync. Keep a backup or export of recipes you value; we cannot restore a library that exists only on your device. Imports depend on the source website and may stop working if it changes or restricts access.

AI and food information

AI features are optional and available only to adults aged 18 or over. Generated recipes, adaptations, nutrition information and quiz answers may contain mistakes. Check ingredients, quantities, allergens and cooking instructions before using them, and follow appropriate food-handling guidance. Aptyte provides general food information, not medical advice or a guarantee that a recipe suits a particular allergy or dietary need.

Aptyte Plus

Paid features, usage limits, price and billing period are shown before purchase. Apple handles App Store payments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple subscription settings before renewal; deleting Aptyte does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Request App Store refunds through Apple. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected. Price changes follow Apple's notice and consent process. Ending Plus does not remove recipes already saved in your library.

Using the service fairly

Do not bypass AI usage limits or security controls, disrupt the service, or use it to infringe others' rights. We may restrict online features where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats or legal requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and let you contact us to challenge a restriction.

The iOS app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. These terms cover Aptyte's service alongside that licence. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Our responsibility

We will provide Aptyte with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every future device or website, or error-free imported or AI-generated content.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses from personal use of the app, or failures caused solely by services outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits consumer guarantees and other rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and disputes

We may update Aptyte or these terms to reflect changes in features, security or law. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting paid services, unless urgent action is necessary, and preserve any right to cancel or obtain a refund required by law.

Swiss law applies to these service terms, without taking away mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence or your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under those protections. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem.
